On-demand Support & Maintenance

Take something as simple as a new member of staff joining the team. First they may need their own workstation and peripheral equipment, which must be sourced and commissioned, and all software loaded and configured. They have to be set up as a network user with the necessary IDs, given the relevant authorisations and permissions, access to e-mail and other systems. Similar issues present themselves when a user changes role within the organisation, especially from one workgroup to another. When someone leaves, the same applies, plus there may be additional security and access issues to deal with.

There are also issues to do with software licensing, system updates (applying system ‘patches’ or service packs), maintaining anti-virus signatures or Internet security fixes, all of which are vital to ensuring that systems continue to perform - either as they should or, in some cases, at all!

Many small and medium sized enterprises often lack the necessary skills or resources to cope with these administrative changes and tasks may sometimes get overlooked or handled inappropriately. Triplan can play an on-demand role in meeting the expectations of your users in supporting them and helping them to resolve day-to-day issues, in particular to avoid systems downtime e.g. due to lapsed, mishandled or omitted procedures.

Triplan can provide a rapid-reaction maintenance service that you can call on at short notice for all manner of problems that may affect your PCs , servers, networks, e-mail, Internet connectivity, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) etc.

No sensible company keeps a level of organisational ‘slack’ that enables it to cope perfectly with whatever one-off or short-term technical requirement it may face. So whether you merely need cover for key staff on leave or sabbatical, or additional resources are needed to bolster an existing or newly-created project team, Triplan can provide a range of skilled resources to meet such shortfalls.
